It's not sim-racing related, but we've developed a new product called the Thomas Hydraulic Pro Bow Press. This is a press used for bow repair and maintenance. For more info click here.

We have developed a new Pedal Pad called the GT Pedal Pad. It's a stainless steel pad with the TSW name cut into it, and it's available in 4 color choices, green, black, blue or red. These pads are available individually for $20 each. In addition, we have reduced the price of the Sport Pedal Pads to $30 for the set of 3, availablility is limited to quantities on hand. Black and Red are the only colors still available.

Shipping and Handling has gone up to $35 on full controllers, $30 for pedal sets and Speedshifters, $10 for most kits, still $5 for small orders like potentiometers.

Announcing a new option for our controllers: Analog throttle and brake levers for the steering wheel. For people who cannot use their legs, these paddle levers enable proportional throttle and brake control without pedals. We have three new controller models incorporating these paddles to accomodate different style steering wheels, and we also have wheel kits for those who already own one of our controllers. You can read more about the paddles here, and find pricing on the products page.

Turn around time currently is rather short on all products, we've been shipping out controllers within 1 to 3 days, and USB upgrade service controllers have been shipping out within a week. We also currently have optical circuit boards on hand for the Digital model controllers, and we have speedshifters ready to ship. With the holidays around the corner, it may not stay this way for long, so if you're thinking of ordering now is a good time to do so.

The new website is up and running. There are still a few pages yet to be finished, that will be completed over the next few days. The regular price of the new TSW Evolution controller goes into effect now, just $15 higher than the TSW2 controllers. We have reconfigured some of the controller models with a different arrangement of features than were found on the TSW and TSW2, which also reflects a price change in those models, but keep in mind you can still customize them to suit your budget and needs.

We have a big announcement today, we've completely redesigned our wheel and pedal controllers, and we're proud to bring you the TSW Evolution controller. This new design doesn't fundamentally change the controller, rather it is a hybrid of our TSW and TSW2 controller, combining the best features of each, allowing us to simplify and speed up production, and offer a steel frame controller at a lower price point than the original TSW. We have a brand new website coming in a matter of days, so expect much more information when it's up and running, but for now you can see what the new controller looks like below.

From the outside, it looks just like the TSW2, but both pedal and wheel controller are changed significantly under the cover. The TSW Evolution is replacing both the TSW2 and TSW controllers. At a price just $15 higher than the wood-base TSW2, you're getting a great value: a steel frame controller as durable as the TSW but priced nearer the wood-base TSW2.

Since it wasn't announced in advance, if you order a controller this week (through July 14th), you can get the TSW Evolution for the price of the TSW2. If for some reason you prefer the TSW, we still have a handful available.

Never satisfied, that's become our motto. We're always looking for ways to further improve our controllers and offer these improvements not only to new customers but to existing TSW users as well. The latest and greatest inovation we have come up with is the Evolution Analog USB circuit board. It has 4 to 5 times the calibration precision of our previous generation analog USB circuit board, with better in-game setup behavior, and jitter-free calibration. All our new wheel and pedal controllers will now incorporate this technology. Prices have gone up about $20 to $28 depending on the controller model to allow for increased costs related to the new electronics.

Also, to update turn-around time for new controllers, as of this time we are getting new controllers out in about 1 week to 1 and 1/2 weeks plus shipping time, if not sooner. USB upgrades are about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks or less. Speedshifters are taking about 2 to 4 weeks depending on the timing of when you order.

Lastly, we're adding a $5 shipping and handling charge per order for part and accessory orders shipped in the continental U.S. That includes pots, USB upgrade kits, etc.. This is just $5 per order not per part.

We're pleased to announce that we now have Optical Encoder technology available for our controllers. We have worked with Sim-Addicts, an electronics developer out of Alabama, to implement their sim-oriented optical technology into our TSW and TSW2 model controllers. What this means is greatly increased resolution and reliability versus any analog(potentiometer)-based controller. The Optical models will provide approximately 1500 points of resolution in the steering, and 400 points of resolution in the pedals. Optical encoders do not wear out like potentiometers do, so you can count on them to last virtually forever.

In addition, even though it's only been out for a couple months, we've already made a slight improvement to the TSW Speedshifter. We have developed a circuit board for the controller so that all the electronics are self contained, enabling the shifter to connect directly to your USB port independent of the wheel and pedals without requiring an addtional electronics box. This makes it more affordable to those needing the separate connectability, and frees up the controller buttons for those wanting to use the shifter with our wheels using a 7-button cover. It does mean a slight price increase, putting it at $285 instead of $275, but the improvement is definitely worth it.
