On July 12th 2006, we announced that the TSW Evolution controller would be replacing our well known and well respected TSW and TSW2 line of wheel and pedals. This complete redesign of our products is another step forward in our company's progress. The redesign accomplishes several things, it provides a controller which is as durable as our TSW model, having an all-steel construction, but at a price near to that of the wood-based TSW2. It also makes production of our controllers faster and more streamlined, which should allow us to get our controllers to our customers that much more quickly during our peak sales periods. In addition, it simplifies our product line eliminating the sometimes difficult choice between TSW and TSW2, and we don't have to stock 2 separate lines of controllers so our shelves are better used to build up stock of our single line of wheels and pedals.
You can have confidence that this redesign has not compromised any of the quality or proven design that we have developed over the years. We did not go back to the drawing board, we simply took the best features of our controllers, utilized a new approach to constructing them so that they would be faster to assemble, with less hand drilling and welding. The new laser cut frames eliminate many steps in the assembly and construction process, and make a nicer looking finished product under the cover as well.
